Job Description :

This position will be responsible for planning, deploying, supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting applications, services and solutions in support of IPI / IPR products.

In this role, the Dev-ops Software Engineer will have wide range of responsibilities working with Software Engineering, Product Management, Network Operations, Customer Support and external customers, and will have responsibility for IPI / IPR production pipelines.

Job Duties (Summary) Design, plan, install, administer and troubleshoot applications, systems and services in production, lab / test, and development environments.

Administer and support high availability mission critical applications and systems. Analyze and resolve complex problems including interoperability issues, issues caused by hardware or software.

Develop and implement processes and procedures for Automated Deployments and Continuous Integration. Support, maintain, and enhance database management systems;

may install vendor and other support software. Establish performance measures for management of systems, analyze problems, make recommendations for improvements / growth, and implement tuning adjustments.

Analyze disaster recovery scenarios, develop on-site backup & recovery requirements. Provide KPI for capacity planning, performance management and monitoring.

Oversee daily operations of large-scale systems; Schedule, document and manage maintenance and troubleshooting procedures as necessary.

Stays current with IT trends making recommendations for operational efficiency Qualifications / Education 5 - 8 years of experience in Deployment, testing and supporting complex applications and systems, preferably data pipeline processing.

Four-year technical degree or equivalent work experience. Knowledge with administering Linux (RedHat and CentOS) operating systems.

Knowledge of deployment and configuration management tools (eg : Chef, Ansible, Puppet) Operational experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Strong knowledge of the Cloud, the candidate has to have experience working with at least one major Cloud provider(AWS, Azure, GCP) preferably GCP.

Proficient scripting skills in Perl, Python, Bash or similar scripting languages. Understanding and working knowledge of IP network architecture and security devices including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, VPN.

Good knowledge of CI / CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins or any similar tool Good knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools such as Terraform Familiarity with administering monitoring, analytics and network management tools (eg : Prometheus, NetCool, Splunk).

Rotational after hours on-call support is required Additional Information Rotational after hours on-call support is required Desired but not mandatory Understanding of basic network concepts Understanding of the HTTP protocol (Headers and response codes) Experience working with databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL (Basic knowledge / experience running queries) Experience with performance monitoring tools Neustar does not accept unsolicited resumes from external firms or agencies.
